Description
1, Silicon Matting Agent is a syntetic, micronized amorphous silica gel having porosity and high purity. The chemical structure of this product is based on Silicon Dioxide (SiO2). Matting agents are used to reduce the gloss in a variety of coatings applications. The application segments for silica gel matting agents include wood furniture coating, industrial coating, coil coatings, automotive coatings and decorative coatings as well as printing inks, leather coatings and textile coatings
2, Silicon Matting Agent usually used for general wood coatings, industrial coatings,
plastic coatings. The general process is to attain silicate liquid by the acid neutralization reaction of sodium silicate solution, then processing it with filtering, washing, drying, finally let is go through our advanced crushing equipment for ultrafine grinding. It is a kind of virulent insipidity, nonflammable fluffy white powder, which is soluble in caustic soda and hydrofluoric acid only. Other characteristics are no decomposition, discoloration under high temperature, but with certain water imbibitions.
